How to make shampoo for dry hair

When it comes to shampoo, one size does not fit all. Different ingredients will add different benefits to our premium shampoo base, meaning you can create an entire haircare range suitable for all hair types from one base.

This recipe is tailored towards being suitable for dry hair. We have chosen glycerin as a main additive ingredient due to it's moisture attracting qualities. According to Prospector, glycerin contains "excellent moisturising properties" and it is an active ingredient in many top performing personal care products.

The following measurements are to make 1 kilogram of end product, simply multiply the amounts of ingredients you will need by the amount of end product you aim to create.

Step 1:

Add the shampoo base to the beaker.

Step 2:

Add glycerin and mix well for around 5-10 minutes until ingredients have dispersed.

Step 3:

Mix in the Opulyn 301 and continue to stir until the colour is consistent throughout, and the shampoo has turned opaque.

Step 4:

Fill your containers with your shampoo and test!
